The Swan Floatel - 3BR Barge, Barton Marina, Deck, Sleeps 6

It was surprisingly big inside,very clean and modern.

We traveled straight from work and wanted a cuppa so bad,whilst there were tea,coffee and sugar it would have been nice to have a small bottle of milk or even powder.

By far the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in. Beautiful location, a true waterside gem. The barge has a stunning interior design, to a first class standard, the attention to detail was exceptional. Large comfy family sofa as well as very comfy beds. We cannot recommend The Swan Flotel enough, magical memories were made.

The tv remote in the living room needs updating

The flotel was beautiful and so clean. It’s nicer than most hotels I’ve stayed in and so comfortable. The boat is spacious and gorgeously decorated, the main room fit for a princess, or a newly wed couple. I honestly loved it, and I don’t usually ever *love* holiday properties. I would happily live on this boat and hope to return. Easily fits a family and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Sits in a prime position on the Marina.

The first night there was a storm with 49mph wind gusts. There was a horrible metal clanging from somewhere outside the main bedroom that we couldn’t locate to stop because it was dark and raining. So loud and jarring we had to switch rooms, but our son was in the other double, so hubby and I were in bunk beds for the first time in 3 decades! Hilarious. Turned out to be a metal hatch and the wind was lifting and dropping the lid. Contacted the owner who was very responsive and polite, and no more problems after wedging the hatch shut. A fluke I should think, a total anomaly that wouldn’t have happened without the storm and wind gusts!
