Villa Jalak by BaliSuperHost

The villa was great, we were a group of 10 and the 5 rooms were perfect for the adults and kids, all rooms had a bathroom which made getting ready for early morning starts a breeze. Dewa, our host, was absolutely amazing, she helped with arrangements for private chef and massages at the villa. Would 100% recommend

It was perfect for our group and as expected its the tropics, so it got really warm some days, the lounge could use at least one more ceiling fan to cool it off a bit or even airconditioning, but apart from that, the villa was great!

Nice pool, spacious living area and bedroom. Very clean. All bedrooms had an en suite. Parking area was great, and lots of privacy.

Water issue but the staff came and fixed it quickly. Roads leading up to Villa was tight, so some cars may struggle to come directly in front of Villa.

La villa es muy nueva y los espacios son muy amplios, cómodos y bien decorados. El trato del gerente de la villa fue perfecto y estuvo disponible vía teléfono en todo momento. El acceso a la villa, aunque estrecho, ya lo han mejorado. Está recién asfaltado. Nosotros alquilamos una furgoneta de 14 personas para movernos por Bali y, con algunas dificultades, pero pudo acceder hasta la puerta de la villa.

Here is what we loved: The Rooms: The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer a perfect blend of Balinese charm and modern luxury. The beds were comfortable, making every night’s sleep restful. We were very impressed with how spotless the entire villa was. From the fresh linens to the sparkling floors, the hygiene standards are clearly a priority here. The villa is a sanctuary. It’s surrounded by a lush, peaceful environment that makes you feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle. The landscaping is stunning and very well-kept. The private pool was the highlight of our stay! It’s clean and serves as the heart of the villa where we spent most of our family time. A huge shoutout to the team for keeping the villa and the kitchen utensils so clean. It was so refreshing to come back to a tidy space and a kitchen that was always ready for our next meal. The BaliSuperHost team and the on-site staff were approachable.

While the villa has its charms, there were several significant drawbacks during our stay that affected our overall experience: Unbearable Heat in Common Areas: The living room and kitchen area do not have Air Conditioning. In Bali’s intense tropical heat, the ceiling fans provided were completely insufficient. Since these are the primary areas for cooking and family "gossiping" sessions, the lack of cooling made it very uncomfortable to spend time there. Poor Handling of Basic Requests: When we requested an additional floor fan to compensate for the lack of AC, we were disappointed to be asked for an additional daily payment for the duration of our 6-day stay. A fan should be a basic amenity in a villa of this caliber if the built-in cooling isn't sufficient. Inconsistent Pricing (Hidden Costs): We were provided with a rate sheet for services like balloon decorations, floating breakfast, and massages. However, when we actually tried to book these with the staff, we were quoted completely different (higher) rates. This lack of transparency felt unprofessional and misleading. Staff Conduct: Unfortunately, main manager of the villa Ode Rusuh one of the staff was rude and had a poor approach. Instead of a welcoming hospitality vibe, we felt a lack of respect in their communication style. Intrusive Checkout Reminders: We found it quite bothering that the staff repeatedly contacted us to remind us about the checkout time. While we understand the need for punctuality, the constant "reminders" felt like we were being pushed out, rather than being allowed to enjoy our final hours. No washing Machine or Any dishwashers Gym looks big in the photo but its extremly small. Gym its not maintained. No Weights. Bicycle is making noise and not functioning. Anything additional that you cost with come with a huge cost so be careful.
