The apartment was perfect for a family stay in Salzburg. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The sofa had enough space for all five of us, including three tall teenagers. We were visiting in December and the place was toasty warm despite the freezing weather. Because it's on a hill you get great views of the mountains on the way down in the morning. Marcus, the host, was very responsive and helpful as well as flexible. Check in was super easy as the door can be opened with a special app. The place is very quiet, just outside of the centre of Salzburg, which is easy to reach. There is a supermarket 10 minutes' walk away and next to it a bus stop from which number 3 bus takes you to the centre of town. The buses come every 10 minutes and only take about 10 minutes to get to the Mirabell gardens.
The alcove bed is tucked away but in one half of the living room so not completely a separate bedroom but that wasn't an issue for us and our daughter found it very comfortable.
