We had a very comfortable and clean room. The bathroom was spacious and modern. I slept very well. I thought it was expensive for a single room but I guess it is whatever customers are willing to pay.

Parking was difficult but we were able to find a place on the road.

Location was excellent. Right on the water with a nice walk! Excellent window coverings as well. Loved that the room had a fan. Most stays in the UK don't include any fans for those of us who like airflow especially while sleeping. We had a parking spot in the driveway which was nice, but if others staying in the building also had a car then I can see it becoming an issue, but for us it was great to park our 9 passenger minibus right at the doorstep. Structure was solid! No noise from other rooms. Very nice tea and coffee bar, and a little fridge.

The property outside was left untidy after renovations it seems. There was a lot of construction debris and litter blowing around. The land around the house wasn't properly landscaped which was a little bit of a downer upon arrival. I actually picked up a lot of plastic rubbish and binned it because I wanted my family to have a nice experience. No light on the bathroom vanity made shaving and make-up difficult for us. Shelf space is needed in the bathroom as well. Entry was a little funky. The key didn't function like a typical key, so it took a few tries upon arriving exhausted from travel.
