Spacious comfy stay

The location is close to YVR. The property was very spacious and had good light as there are windows on 2 sides. All necessary amenities were provided. It was nice to have kitchen facilities as we ended up staying the entire day in the apartment. Using a keycode to enter is handy. It might be a good idea to provide details on how to use the key code entry. Just pressing the code does not open the door. After some fiddling we were able to get the sequence. We stayed at a location in Tokyo that sent us a link to a small video to explain how to lock/unlock the door to the building and to the apartment unit. Not everyone uses this technology at home so it would be useful to future guests.

Unfortunately due to the proximity of the airport, the property sits under landing route. It can be very loud depending on the type of plane that is approaching YVR. This unit is part of the property owner's home. Unfortunately there door connecting the unit to the rest of the home is not sound proof. We understand that it is their home and they can entertain family and friends but unfortunately it caused a lot of noise for us. Since this day was a special occasion (Mother's Day), we did not complain to the host but they should be aware.

Way too many rules/couldn't get TV to work (probably more my ineptitude)/parking was required to be on the street - not real handy for someone with luggage and unknown dynamics of the neighborhood/

Location was good the host came and changed batteries for the door lock. He was very friendly and helpful with the vehicle we rented as we're having some issues starting it The suite had lots of room living area kitchen and separate bedroom enjoyed our stay

The whole space is as described, and facilities are all ready to be used, it's perfect for people who wants to access the airport in under 10 mins by car

Comparatively not as convenient, but that's just a trade off between close proximity to airport and the rest of the city
