Explore the scenic Valme circular hiking route (VA2), or cycle through lush valleys on well-marked trails. In winter, the Hunau ski area just 7 km away offers floodlit slopes, cross-country trails, and a ski school2. For thrills, Fort Fun Adventure Land is only 5 km away, with Wild West–themed rides and shows. At Lake Hennesee, enjoy SUP, kayaking, rowing, or join a family-friendly water sports course.
With final cleaning included, these rustic homes make for a stress-free base to explore Sauerland’s natural beauty and nearby attractions.

Wonderful place for a family getaway, We, a family with two children aged 6 and 4, rented the house for a skiing trip in Winterberg, The location was perfect, just a short drive to Winterberg, with lovely towns and restaurants along the way, We had a spacious house with three bedrooms, Most of our time was spent skiing, so we mainly used the house for sleeping and breakfast, The house was well-equipped and met all our needs, In the mornings, while getting ready, the kids could enjoy playing outside at the playground, which was fantastic, The scenery was also beautiful, WiFi and mobile data were unavailable, which turned out to be a blessing for quality family time, but it meant we couldn't plan our upcoming days ahead of time, so we did that while driving, Our host was friendly, and the surroundings were stunning

Charming and functional! We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, The proximity to the forest was a lovely bonus, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails, Would definitely visit again!
