Quietly located on a sunny hillside with views over Lake Garda, Villa Iris is the ideal choice for a relaxing escape with groups of up to 6 family or friends.

This charming retreat is arranged over two floors and enjoys an extensive balcony that’s perfect for soaking up the Italian sunshine, a shared garden and access to a swimming pool. There’s also a private terrace to enjoy alfresco dining or an evening aperitif.

Inside, the villa features an open plan living space furnished with two comfortable sofas, a fireplace, a flatscreen smart TV and a dining table. The separate kitchen is fitted with a Mokka coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a fridge freezer.

Location

The property is located on the west coast of Lake Guarda, in the outskirts of the picturesque village of Toscolano-Maderno (a 5-minute drive). There is a restaurant and a supermarket within a is a 5-minute drive / 20-minute walk. For local produce, there is also a weekly farmers market on Via Guglielmo Marconi (a 7-minute drive) every Thursday morning,

The town is dotted with cypress trees, olive groves and lemon orchards and has a pretty port (a 5-minute drive) that is busy with colourful boats and ferries. Visitors can take a boat to the Veronese side of the lake from Salò (a 17-minute drive). There are also several lakeside beaches (two within a 7-minute drive) with a choice of water sports including; canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, sport fishing and diving.

Other activities can be found in the surrounding hills and mountains including; climbing, hiking, mountain bike trails and horse riding. There is also a golf course just a 10-minute drive away. Other popular excursions include a drive to the elegant resort of Gardone Riviera (a 12-minute drive), a visit to Vittoriale (a 10-minute drive) or a trip to Padenghe sul Garda, known for its extra virgin olive oil and D.O.C wines (a 35-minute drive). A little further afield visitors can reach Sirmione (a 1-hour drive) famous for its thermal baths, Verona, the setting for Shakespear’s Romeo & Juliet (a 1 hour 15-minute drive) and Venice which is just over a 2-hour drive away.

The closest international airports are Milan Bergamo (BGY), approximately a 1-hour 15-minute drive and Verona (VRN) Airport which is approximately an hour\'s drive away.
