We asked to bring the check in time forward and the Host was very obliging and arranged for us to collect the key from the lady who cleans. This was a great start and we had a couple of interactions during our stay and he was always very prompt to respond and helpful. The property is quite traditionally furnished - lots of lovely wood furniture without any fuss being made about not putting things on it! - but also well appointed with comfy sofa and armchairs as well as some DVDs and CDs to use. The balcony is great and has two double doors onto it - one from the bedroom and one from the living room with plants with a built-in watering system so they were in bloom plus table and chairs. Internet access is fast and constant, the size of the rooms spacious with the kitchen well-designed. Perfectly located for our visit to Nervi - a really safe neighbourhood. Def not somewhere if you have any mobility issues but so easy to walk everywhere if you don't mind steps...and more steps. Stunning countryside accessible just across the main road if you're up for some hill walking. Super-quiet accommodation - no road noise and it looks out over car access to flat and nice view of the sea and sky. Less than 10 mins walk to the station and about 5 mins to the high road and shops, including bakeries, supermarkets, gelaterias and a sweet little park. It's quite a specific destination but if you want to go to Genoa, it's a wonderful neighbourhood and starting point.

The only tiny thing we commented on negatively was that the hand soap in the bathroom was watered down - not exactly a big issue and probably just overlooked by the fact that our early arrival made the cleaner rush! Really lovely apartment.
