Hafan Cottage in Beddgelert, Gwynedd sleeps five guests in two bedrooms.
Hafan Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with dining seating, microwave, washing machine, oven, hob, and fridge with icebox, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double and family room with a double and single. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC, and a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, 0GBP of fuel and power, bed linen, tea towels and bath mat are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, furniture, and a large lawn area, and roadside parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Town: The picturesque village of Beddgelert lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park at the foot of Mount Snowdon. Beddgelert is a bustling village with arts and craft shops, tea rooms, welcoming pubs, including Saracens Head and the Royal Goat, and restaurants, centred around the Afon Glaslyn river. A leisurely stroll along the river will take you to the Aberglaslyn Pass, one of North Wales’s most famous beauty spots. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway passes through the village on its journey from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. Beddgelert is famed for its monument to the Welsh Prince Llewelyn's dog, whom the Prince killed thinking it had attacked and killed his son, only to discover afterwards it had been defending his son from a savage wolf attack. From here, you can easily access Porthmadog, home to a Maritime Museum, the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, the Black Rock Llamas, and Porthmadog Golf Club, as well as Borth y Gest, where you can hike along the Beach Path, spend a day at the beach, and dine at the popular Black Rock Beach Club with stunning sea views, onwards to the Llyn Peninsula and beyond, this is an ideal location for a Welsh holiday.

Great location in the village with no problems or restrictions parking directly outside or close by. I loved the sound of the river coming in through the main bedroom window. Spacious back terrace and garden with great views if the mountain opposite, but overgrown and seemingly untended in a while. Cottage is spacious and good size for 22. Didn’t use it but a great fire place for cozy evenings in. Bit of a musty odour that we couldn’t quite shift. Decor would benefit from modernisation.

This cottage was a perfect base for a few days walking in Snowdonia. Good facilities, including Wi Fi and parking right outsite. Close to all the local pubs, shops and places of interest.
