Oxford city centre Modern 2-Bed flat

Just a little hidden gem, 15 minute walk to Oxford centre set in peaceful riverside location with riverside views. A beautiful clean and comfortable two bed apartment. Lovely shower. Excellent communication from host. Excellent stock of "essentials"

Slight niggle only, I found the sofa terribly uncomfortable but would not stop me returning.

A spacious property that mainly was well presented and it was not too far from the centre of Oxford. It worked well for our needs the way it was laid out and felt very clean too.

It was only let down really by the curtains in the second 2 single bedroom by the curtains being far too short so the was a gap at the bottom of the window letting in the light. They definitely need to be extended in length or replaced.

Die Lage war toll, direkt am Fluß und in 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich, es war ruhig. Parkplatz vor der Tür war super. Betten waren bequem. Kaffee, Tee und Kekse waren da. Küche war gut ausgestattet, sogar Waschmaschine.

Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig aber nicht unser Stil. Bisschen lieblos. Leider keine Moskitonetze an den Fenstern. Wir hatten Moskitos im Zimmer.

The location of the flat is ideal with about 10 min walk along the river to town. Very quiet area too. The flat was quick to warm up and the shower was great. Small touches like the christmas tree and plenty of toilet rolls made a difference. I liked the heated mirror's with a clock on them. The flat was clean, tidy with a drawer of coffee, biscuits, etc., Bujar (the owner) was very quick to respond to emails, which was very helpful. The beds were comfortable enough with blankets and storage in the rooms. Thank goodness for the private parking spot as there is no way you can park in Oxford otherwise. Lovely view over the river.

As the property is for 4 people, the living room isn't as comfortable as the sofa is a 3 seater and there is easily space to put another armchair in. A dimmer light or a lamp with softer lighting would have made it cosier. The curtains didn't quite fit any of the rooms, but were ok. We didn't eat in the kitchen as there's no radiator to keep it warm. You always had to barge the front door open to get into the flat. A few more drinking glasses would have been nice. The flooring throughout the hall, bedroom and toilet is very squeaky.
