The apartment was spacious and decorated very cutely and a functional kitchen if needed. Shower pressure was fantastic, and beds very comfortable. The metro was also only a 13min walk away, which made it convenient during the day to get into the city center. The customer service was very attentive.
We are two young females traveling together and didn’t feel the location was very safe for us. It was very culturally diverse and felt on the lower SES, drunk youth outside the window of an evening and constant noise and traffic (as it faces a busy intersection).
The building is slightly run-down and the stairs to the top floor were fairly narrow making it tricky to take our luggage up/down.
There was an unpleasant smell coming from the drains in bathroom as well as no curtain or blind covering the bathroom window. Making it really uncomfortable to shower or change clothes, with clear visibility of neighbours in their homes looking towards our direction. As well as the toilet seat was completely broken, forcing us to leave it off while needing to use the toilet.
We visited at the end of June and the apartment got the sunlight all day, which is picturesque but felt like an oven to sleep in at night. A floor fan or potentially an a/c would have helped to cool the apartment down.
In the end, these are minor issues, not the end of the world, but when we’re paying significantly higher rates during summer, I would have expected a more pleasant stay.
