Great location, right next to Colindale tube station - direct link to London city centre in 30 mins. Really nice area. Comfortable bed with clean sheets, access to a shared living room and kitchen. Value for money was good considering the proximity to London, especially compared to other options.
Communication with the owner was particularly difficult, they only replied with check in instructions on the day after I had to call Booking.com and have them contact them to say we couldn't get in. Throughout our stay they were unresponsive to messages.
They only have one key, so they either need to be in the property or leave it unlocked. They were out until the early hours of the morning so we had to leave the door unlocked all night.
There is also no free parking, as advertised, meaning we had to spend money on parking during our stay. They ignored any messages around this topic.
The door to the room also can't be locked. The bathroom, although advertised as private, is just the apartment bathroom adjacent to the living room and kitchen.
We had no idea if we were the only people in the property or if we had company, making for quite an uncomfortable night's sleep (paired with the unlocked bedroom door and front door).
No towels or hand soap provided, either.
