Le Cielo Resort Canggu Batu Bolong by Maviba

We stayed in what felt like a private mini villa — very quiet, peaceful, and beautifully designed, giving us a truly relaxing experience. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who took great care of us throughout our stay and made everything smooth and comfortable. A special mention to Eka, who speaks excellent English and was always attentive and responsive to our requests. His service really made a difference to our stay. We will definitely come back and stay here again on our next trip to Bali.

The only downside during our stay was that the shower drainage was a bit clogged. However, once we informed the staff, they responded immediately and came to fix it without delay. They also have a WhatsApp chat service, which made it very convenient to report any issues and get quick assistance.

Let me start with the positives about Le Cielo. The staff and cleanliness were just as described in the reviews—everyone was very polite and helpful, and the room was cleaned nicely every day. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a good variety of options for breakfast. The location was also quite convenient.

However, there are still areas that need improvement. For example, the lighting in the hotel is quite poor, and there is no close-up mirror in the bathroom. There isn’t an additional mirror in the room either, which makes things like doing makeup quite difficult. When it rained, water came into the room from under the door. During the first three days, we also experienced frequent water outages; whenever we called, they would turn a valve and restore the water. After we complained seriously about this, it didn’t happen again. There is an outdoor seating area in the room, but no table—adding a small table would make a big difference. Also, there is a protruding edge in the outdoor area that is quite dangerous, as you can easily trip over it. I understand this might be related to the pool design, but some precaution like better lighting around it could help. If you rent a car, accessing the property can be quite difficult.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well and I really enjoyed it.
