This lodge is the ultimate relaxation destination. It’s placed looking over stunning landscape including a golf course and little lakes. There is such a calming, safe atmosphere here. You can watch the sunset from the hot tub that is sunk into the decking, or from the bedroom out of the floor to ceiling windows. Each of the bedrooms has its own bathroom and door to get on to the balcony. The doors in the living room that lead out on to the decking, can be opened completely by sliding them giving you that extra space, which I imagine would be gorgeous in the summer. I have just come back from my second visit here in as many months. You have everything you possibly need for it to feel like a home from home. There is all the modern appliances, even including a wine cooler and hot tap! The curtains are remote controlled which just adds to the luxury. Nothing was too much trouble either, you can order food that can be delivered to your lodge and you can just pop in the oven! It’s delicious! There is also the golf club restaurant which you can get a bite to eat in too or have a drink. The bed in the main bedroom is one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in and there is also a walk in wardrobe! There’s a washer/dryer if you need to do some laundry while you are there too. This location isn’t too far from a retail park, it’s about 15 min drive, but has everything you need for a stay at the lodge.
