Danielle & Serge (comic book enthusiast, owner of an exceptional collection of 15,000 books, which can be consulted in his company) welcome you to an authentic country farmhouse from the early 20th century, fully restored, nestled in a peaceful residential hamlet near the center of the charming city of "Sacré Cœur" nestled on the banks of the famous Canal du Centre, a mecca of Romanesque art in the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire", rich in a literally exceptional heritage (Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur from the end of the 11th century, a masterpiece of Romanesque art, the best preserved Cluniac architecture in Burgundy, Eucharistic Museum of Hiéron, the oldest museum of sacred art in France, etc.) as well as all the amenities & leisure facilities. Soothing green setting all around, nestled in the heart of the preserved "parodian" countryside, on a bucolic hilly plateau of fields & wooded meadows in the hollow of the gentle Bourbince valley & its fish-filled river (protected in ZNIEFF for its fauna & flora riches) and the famous Charolais bocage dotted with ponds, not far from beautiful wild forests (including the Bois des Aisances rich in many small paths for relaxing walks in the undergrowth).
