Spacious, beautiful, relaxing, well-appointed. It was the perfect place for me and my grown children to hang out together. We played games on the deck and in the dining room, relaxed by the lake, hiked, biked, cooked, grilled, hung out in the hot tub, played with the dogs, wandered around Sandpoint, enjoyed our time together…

Our family of 6 had plenty of room in this lake house. We loved that it was dog-friendly and we loved the private dock. But the house was directly positioned on a busy road. The noise of traffic and constantly keeping close eye on the kids kept us on edge.

We had a memorable 4 days at Cedars. The home was clean and in a beautiful piece of property. It was a bit further walk to the private dock than I thought it would be but nothing too bad. You could drive right to it with Kayaks (in which there is a really nice new two kayak or paddle board holder) or anything heavy. A great fire pit by the dock too.

The location of this house is very nice. The view from the back yard, across the lake, is quite lovely. The town of sandpoint is a short drive across the bridge.The living room area of the house is large with plenty of comfy couches to lounge. The bedroom and bathroom on the main floor of the house are pretty small. The kitchen and primary bathroom are a quite dated. The kitchen/cooking supplies seemed incomplete. The owners of the house live in another house, next door, on the same property. The owners are very nice, but the property doesn't feel private. When we were spending time in the yard or down by the lake, the owners were in the yard doing yardwork.
