About this house rental
Enjoy the comforts of a new construction home in the Schumacher Place neighborhood, featuring:
✓ Three bedrooms: one king bed, one queen bed, and one full bed
✓ Modern floor plan, high-quality furnishings, and a 2-car garage!
✓ 15-minute walk (6-minute drive) to Nationwide Children's Hospital
✓ 10-minute walk to Schmidt's Sausage Haus (a Columbus favorite) and to Schiller Park
✓ 4-minute walk from Skillet (a popular brunch and lunch spot)
✓ Sonos wireless speaker on the first floor for the audiophiles
You'll be able to park two standard vehicles in the garage, or on the street in front of the home (free). The home is new construction (less than 10 years old), so you'll enjoy a wide open floor plan that is not typical for older homes in the area! The first floor space is open from the living room through to the dining room and kitchen. The first floor also has a 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen. Upstairs, enjoy a spacious primary bedroom (king bed with en suite bath). The other bedrooms have a queen bed and a full bed, and share a bathroom.
Kitchen: we've provided a stocked kitchen with most things that you should need for basic cooking. A drip coffee maker is available and we'll provide a grinder and some whole beans to get you started.
Bathrooms: 1/2 bath downstairs through the kitchen; primary (en suite) bathroom has a shower with glass doors; jack-and-jill bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower if baths are needed!
Laundry: laundry is conveniently located on the second floor in a closet and will be available for guests to use.
Outdoor space: the first floor leads out to a relaxing private back patio, with a comfortable seating area with two outdoor couches.
Accessibility / Other Notes: There are a few stairs (3-5) required to get inside the house. We ask guests to assist with moving the trash and recycling bins from the garage to the alley for city pickup.

Home was super cozy and well equipped with lots of extras that made our time there easier. Traveling with a little one is challenging and having access to the extras they provided made it easier. That GF mac and cheese saved me one afternoon, every kitchen utensil you could want, nice towels and plenty of them…
On arrival I had some cleanliness concerns (again traveling with a little one), I wrote a message asking for help, got an immediate response and someone came over to touch up the areas of concern quickly. I really appreciated that.

The house was just as described in the lusting. It was a new home that was in fabulous shape mixed into the middle of an established community. The hosts were super responsive and helped when asked. The outside space was quaint and cozy and private. The 2 car garage was a super bonus in keeping us parked off of the street. Nice location close to COSI and the conservatory. The zoo was not a long ride either. The house served us perfectly to visit Columbus sites. We would definitely recommend to others.
