The view the fire the place is very cute. So fun. We couldn’t get to see the cat but we found there footprints 🥰

The property was stunning and in a beautiful, tranquil location. We loved the decor and the cosy feel and the personal touches. We loved the wood burner and the bed was very comfortable with a thick duvet.
The only issue was the toilet. Being a compost toilet it does not do well in masking smells. The fact that the toilet was right next to the kitchen was quite off- putting and unfortunately would prevent me from rebooking. We also chose not to shower due to the bathroom smell. It is a shame as the property is exceptional.

The host Alison was very welcoming amongst arrival, saw I had my baby with me and brought out toys and explained everything we needed to know. Instantly felt welcomed and the place is decorated beautifully. All the little extras were a perfect touch. Felt peaceful and just what we needed. Alison had put refreshments in the fridge and went above and beyond to make it that extra bit special.

This was our first experience of staying in a shepherd's hut. It was surprisingly brilliant! Located in a lovely quiet spot. Comfortable, cosy and with all the facilities one needed. Alison also provided a lovely continental breakfast. Definitely a recommend.
