Beautiful location, large room with amazing attention to detail. Fabulous hospitality from George, Emma and Dennis, in fact, all staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Fab breakfast, teas and cake š§

The property itself was intriguing with many period features with nice touches, but a lack of service marred the experience which is a shame.
A female member of staff was indifferent with little reason to return., for example little to no conversion or even an an acknowledgment of our presence which made us feel unwelcome, it would of been nice to be asked good morning, how did you find your room etc, nothing.
During breakfast she constantly rearranged items causing unnecessary noise to the point of distraction and annoyance.
That canāt be said of her husband who was a decent host as were his staff however due to her we would not return.
