Location is great. It may be on a main street but there isn't much noise from the street level.
Windows overlook all the passing street life.
Still quite some authentic details in the appt to give it plenty of original charm.
2 mins walk from metro station and basically in the middle of the main (tourist) area of Lyon.
Inside appt: brand new washing machine, sheets all very crisp and clean, beds comfortable and plenty of clean towels etc
Entrance doorway from street is at first sight a bit 'intimidating' not to mention the very old shared stone staircase and scruffy stairwell going up to the appts . Always felt totally safe though! It is on the third floor but stairs are wide and ascend easily so not difficult to walk up like some others have posted reviews on.
Only small min point was that the hot water for the shower wasn't really that hot - more 'warm'.
There's a brand new boiler so I guess it's just a question of someone changing some settings.

Descent location, simple but nice apartment.
No aircondition which made it a tough time as Lyon gets quite hot during summertime. A few fans was provided although it wasn’t enough to cool down the rooms properly.
