Very spacious accommodation, very well equipped kitchen, excellent location next to Woolacombe beach and near Ilfracombe.
2 of the duvets hadn't been cleaned properly, drainage in main bathroom was slow moving so couldn't use, fortunately there was a second bathroom although the shower head was unstable, hope these are fixed

Lovely location near to Woolacombe beach which is beautiful even on a cold December morning. Apartment was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment.
The en-suite bathroom bulbs needed replacing, the only illumination was via the mirror light. Black mould around the shower sealant. Shower head support bracket was broken. Dirty plates mixed with clean in the cupboard. Black mould around the kitchen worktop sealant. Dishwasher filter needed cleaning on first use. Various lights not working throughout the property.
Some basic maintenance would fix most issues very quickly.

Great location, great space, easy to access, a really good pub serving good food 5 mins away. The single beds were comfy but they are seperated bunk beds so one has a frame around the side which is a nuisance if you are tall.
When we arrived at midnight we found both the double beds had not been made and the old sheets/duvet were still on the bed in a dishevelled state. After contacting the host we established that there was clean linen under the bed so we made the beds ourselves. The host contacted us the next day to say they were coming round to change the linen. We said this was unnecessary as we had sorted it out ourselves. The host then offerred a refund of a cost of a night, very generous we thought. As it turns out, too generous. Although this offer was proffered again, after enquiring as to wether anything was required of us to facilitate the refund, no response or refund was subsequently forthcoming. After escalating this via Booking.com we were told no refund was to be made. To be honest, we thought at the time that it was an unrealistic offer but we had not pressed for any kind of compensation and it was entirely at the hosts suggestion.

Beautiful place and location, but the stay was disrupted by noise, building works, and maintenance issues — and we even missed a night because of it.
