The hosts made it very homely for us, it was small but nice and cosy. Had all we needed kettle, microwave and mini fridge. Close to matlock centre which was perfect.
We unfortunately didn't sleep well, found the bed a bit too small, and not very comfortable. But what may not be to our liking it maybe perfect for others.

Generally we liked this place due to the location in Matlock and the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. If staying here you have to accept it is small and make it work. We had 2 nights here which was spot on for our needs. It can be tight, but it still has charm and we didn't mind at all. You still get a good bed, tv, wifi, kettle, microwave and small fridge. The toilet is just inside the external door, which is a bit strange initially, but it doesn't detract at all. A shower sits behind the toilet. There are a few coat hangers avaialable and hooks on the door which were ideal for us. So really, you do have what you need. Outside there is a bisto table with a couple of seats. The town centre is simply a 10-15 minute stroll right up the street. One bonus for a quick bit of food, there is a McDonalds right across the road. All in all we had no complaints about staying here. Replace 'small' with cosy and you will be right on the money.

It was so cute and cosy, everything was clean and lovely. Close to town for the evening. Definitely recommend a stay here.
It was near the road and I could hear the cars going past so I didn't sleep too well. That was probably more that I am used to it being very quiet to be able to sleep. This is the only reason I'm not giving a 10.
Just a note - the bed is shorter than normal so if you are a tall person contact the property first to check the bed size will be ok. I'm short so it was perfectly fine for me.
