We've been coming to Feldberg/Titisee every year toward the end of ski season for a long time. We stayed at Villa Hubertus previously, when it was a more traditional B&B run by an elderly German couple who really made us feel special every time we stayed. This was our first time in this property as a self-catering apartment-style lodging. We were overall very impressed despite the loss of some of the prior charm by conversion of the ground floor into an apartment. But the comfort level, location, and value for money of this property are exceptional. The view alone, especially after a fresh snow weighs down the pine branches across the horizon, is truly special. A few minutes from the ski lift, 10 minutes from the Badeparadies, and plenty of restaurants and shops within stumbling distance. We loved our stay and would gladly come back. The balcony is especially amazing as a feature of this apartment.
We've stayed in a half dozen different properties in this area and this is the first time we haven't felt like it was focused on integrating local tourism. The Hochschwarzwald Card (red card) is not offered with a stay, so things like discount lift tickets and therme visits are not included. Other properties have given us a pool bag for the spa and even extra towels. None of that on this visit, though admittedly these are extra touches and not doing them helps keep costs down. There was a hob and a fridge in the room, but there was no oven -- only a shared toaster oven and microwave in the hallway. When I used the toaster oven, it smoked badly and set off the smoke alarm, so I had to clean it before use and it was obvious no one had done so in a while. I think if Hubertus is marketed not as a tourist-centric B&B but a self-catering long-stay option, the kitchenette needs to be better equipped. If it is a traditional tourism option, it needs a more present and hospitable touch from the hosts. Still, these are minor things that did not impact on the comfort, quiet, and enjoyability overall of our time there.

Modern en goed ingericht appartement. Op loopafstand van wat winkels en restaurants en 6 minuten rijden van skiliften. Parkeren makkelijk op eigen terrein van de appartementen.

Sauber war es überall. Hervorragende Ausstattung, ob es in der Küche oder im Bad war.
Der Winterdienst hat sich auch die größte Mühe gegeben, die Einfahrt von den Schnee zu befreien.
Am Anfang war die Parkplatz Situation etwas unübersichtlich, dies wurde sofort von den Inhabern schnell geregelt.

Der Blick auf den Titisee
Die Hellhörigkeit. Im Schlafzimmer haben wir von nebenan (4 Personen in Ferien- und Feierlaune) an 2 Tagen bis nachts um 4 Uhr so gehört als wären sie bei uns im Schlafzimmer gesessen.
