Great property overlooking the canal on quiet street. Really well kept, nicely decorated and had all the facilities and appliances needed for self catering. The rooms were spacious, and there is a great spot at the end of the sofa where you can just watch the world go by out the window.
Only a 10-15 min walk from the main town, there is a nice cafe a few doors down and a Lidl only a few mins walk away.
The option to park on site was great as public parking in Gent seems fairly complicated.
The spiral staircase may be an issue for those with mobility problems. An addition of a full length mirror in the bedroom would also be very useful too for getting ready to go out.

The apartment is really spacious, plenty of room for 2 people. It's really nicely decorated, the bed is comfy and it's very quiet on a quiet street facing the canal with the bedroom at the back. Entry is via a phone system which feels very secure, you just need to ensure that you have the ability to call the number. The only small downside is that entry to the apartment is up quite a tight spiral staircase so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
