About this house rental
Make yourself at home in this relaxing 3-bedroom Patton retreat. This one-story layout home features a king bed, queen bed, and twin bed, perfect for a family, group of friends, or romantic get-away. Enjoy the accessible bathroom with a no-step shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, washcloths, and hair dryer. This adorable, highly rated home is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including central air conditioning, central heat, electric heated fireplaces, fully equipped kitchen, and a free washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets. Enjoy free off-street parking for 3 vehicles in the driveway with a carport, and large truck/trailer/toy hauler parking along the tree line.
We're happy to suggest local spots to check out such as excellent trout fishing in Chest Creek, which is walking distance (less than 50 yds away from Shady Pines) and short 10 min drives to our other great local attractions such as Rock Run ATV park and Prince Gallitzin State Park. We are a short drive (25 mins) to Penn State University-Altoona and (45-50 mins) to Penn State University-State College, where you will find the Bryce Jordan Center for concerts and other events and Beaver Stadium for Penn State football games. Feel free to reach out for directions, suggestions, questions...because as you know, the locals have all the good info!

A comfortable, clean and well appointed home. We had a long girls weekend and were very comfortable at Shady Pines. We plan to come back.

This is by far the best vrbo rental we have had. The house is maticulous and the owner provides so many extras like coffee, spices, bathroom personal items….you name it. Correspondence was excellent. We rented it in order to go to the Penn State game. We hope to go back someday even if it is just to enjoy the house.
