The location was excellent, and some of the staff were very welcoming and professional. Natasha, in particular, was my children’s favorite. The room cleanliness was impressive, and the bedsheets were perfect.
The breakfast needs significant improvement. The menu was the same every day, and having identical breakfast options became very repetitive. We stayed for 11 nights. We even had to skip breakfast on some days, even though we had paid for it.
Additionally, one of the receptionists was quite unprofessional. When we raised concerns about the family rooms, his response was dismissive, as if we simply had to accept the situation, even though the room did not match what was advertised on Booking.com. He also stated that they could not verify anything with Booking.com, since it is a third-party provider, implying that any discrepancies were not the hotel’s responsibility.

Everything was great during our stay at the Canopy. Location is ideal, it is a new and modern hotel, very clean, spacious rooms and the breakfast is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond, we really enjoyed our stay. We had a misunderstanding while booking a tour, the staff quickly solved it and we had an excellent guide from Ax Explorer (Owen). Do not hesitate to book this hotel and ask for the guide, it will certainly be a great time!

The property was nice inside and in a nice area
The management of the hotel was poor especially on F&B. Prior to my booking the property asked for any dietary requirements, for which I communicated to them all my allergens and they didn’t have anything for breakfast to cater for gluten free diets/ celiacs. Moreover, the labeling on the food was incorrect. It says that they serve smoked salmon but it’s trout. The staff were very friendly and tried to fix when they could but I think the issue is from the top level. Moreover, they had a fire alarm go off at 22:00 and our room was full of smoke and it smelt really bad. The General Manager kindly changed our room for the last night but then we were woken up again at 06:00 am by a false alarm. Apparently the fire alarm in the hotel was going off due to external issues which were out of their control… it seemed quite strange and all in all very badly managed and staff didn’t look like they knew what they were doing.
