No tv but not an issue for us as we had the laptop with us.

It is a budget accommodation, inside is fresh and clean. The room was lovely, only thing missing was a long mirror. This was great for what we needed, a night in Derby to go and see a band. If you need any assistance you can go to room 1 for that. It’s only about a 5 minute walk to the city centre. There’s a pub nearby but we didn’t go into it. Check in was straightforward, we received instructions through booking, there a key safe for each room, so you let yourself in and out.

It is a little different to anything we’ve booked on booking before as it’s on what looks like a council Eastate, and it’s a house that has been split into separate rooms. This may put some ppl off. Although there are rules and request posters to respect the bathroom, it looks like someone lives there, they have toothbrush, shower gels etc in the bathroom and had just thrown a used towel over the wall heater. The shower screen needs changing. In the morning we noticed someone had left the front door unlocked (we locked it when we came back the night before) so anyone could have just walked in, I would have assumed this was locked at all times. The outside really needs some work, there is a panel that has come loose, which is being propped up… this is dangerous. The front garden is full of weeds, it needs attention, it wouldn’t take much to make it look welcoming.
