Lovely views from conservatory over to distant hills , and Golf Course. Lots of nice toiletries , biscuits and hot drinks items provided .
Lovely Westie dogs belonging to owner .
Sorry we didn’t get the chance to say hello to the owner as we only saw him as he took the dogs away on our first day . The lady host was very pleasant on arrival when we saw and spoke to her, but didn’t see either again over the five days . Possibly the owners assume all guests don’t want to see owners beyond an initial quick greeting , which maybe the case, but we enjoy chatting with owners and their dogs ( if any ) , at the other properties we visit .
A few small issues to be addressed were mentioned to the owner in the property’s comments book and the owner said these would be addressed - , such as neither the bathroom or shower room fans working - (unfortunately probably causing ceiling paint to start flaking in the very nice wet room) . It is very,very dark on the drive outside the door at night with neither outdoor light working . It’s a shame the lovely fir trees alongside the drive cause so much mess to come into the property - an outdoor doormat and broom would help , along with an upright brush and/or small indoor vac or carpet sweeper would help keep the very nice carpets clean, especially if the guests can’t bend down easily .

Beautifully renovated, comfortable and modern. The view over the golf course and the hills beyond was lovely, as was the chance to watch all the bird life near the feeders.
The location well outside of Chapel en Le Frith is not perfect but it does mean less road noise. More disappointedly, we received a rather rude message from the owner after we left, accusing us of making the cable TV inoperative. When we explained that we did nothing of the sort and that the TV was working fine when we left, we received no acknowledgement of any kind. The owners need to work on their visitor management skills.

Very nice little cottage, incredibly clean and had everything you could need. The conservatory looking out on the garden and the peaks is lovely.
