The Vintage House was a lovely 1928 style house. It had everything you'd need and was ideally located for the town. It was basic, no nonsense accommodation, which was exactly what we'd hoped for. The beds & linen were exceptional, and the flooring and garden made it stress free with my little dog. If you want a luxury break, this may not be for you. But if you want to step away from the trappings of modern life, have a peaceful stay in quirky accommodation, then the vintage house is ideal. We loved it. Thank you so much xxx
Being an original 1928 house, the windows were a bit draughty. Maybe a door curtain in a period style would resolve that? Obviously this wouldn't be a problem in the warmer months, but worth considering when the evenings get chilly. Nevertheless, this wouldn't stop me going back as it's pro's far outweigh any niggles.
