About this cottage rental
Don't miss your opportunity to stay in a lovingly renovated cottage, nestled in the woods on 11 acres! Just a short drive to the Historic Chautauqua Institution and Lake. Enjoy the seclusion of the Cottage surrounded by nature and wildlife, roam nearby walking trails and swap stories around the fire-pit. You are able to enjoy all of this without giving up the convenience of being able to explore all the culture and activities that Chautauqua County has to offer.
Sit on the covered front porch for your morning coffee or BBQ on the back deck; the cottage is like your home away from home with it's fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar. There is a laundry room and large downstairs tub/shower bathroom. The main floor is complete by a Dining Room which is open to a kitchen, a cozy Living Area with a large Smart TV to snuggle up in front of and a main main floor bedroom.
Upstairs there are two more spacious bedrooms sharing a Jack n Jill shower bathroom. The second floor primary bedroom has its own private porch, perfect for a late afternoon cocktail.

The house is perfect, and lives up to the high expectations we had from the photos. Everything was very clean and the decorations truly gave a sense of being in a well maintained Chautauqua home. The house is very close to Chautauqua Institution, which made it very easy to get back and forth. It is located on a large property in the forest with a big lawn that affords a lot of space and privacy. The owners are delightful. We plan to stay here again next year.

I cannot say enough about this CHQ cottage - it is perfection! A quaint cottage with all the updates! We plan an Autumn visit and wouldn’t consider anywhere else! Great Owners who pay attention to all the details for a perfect stay!
