Location, cozyness and easy communication with owner

Superb location and despite the loud neighbourhood and record breaking temperatures, the bedroom was cool and very quiet. Lots of space and a we'll equipped kitchen area.

Ideal location in front of the castle, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, most sightseeing places within walking distance. Flixbus stop very nearby (~3-5 mins), Railway station, Bus interchange, National Express Coach station ~10-15 mins away by foot. Very spacious apartments with separate bedroom, bathroom and living room-kitchen, great value for the price. Bedroom is very calm, facing backyard; living room has big windows facing the castle and St John street with church. Electric automated heaters available with adjustable temperature, it was warm and comfortable.

Living room can be slightly noisy due to windows facing the St John street (many bars, restaurants and people passing by) – not an issue at all if you're sleeping in the bedroom.

Kitchen units badly fitted and fridge not secured to housing so tipped out if milk/juice cartons were in the door. Really dangerous. Ice box door doesn’t stay shut. Bedding in bedroom was old looking, over washed creased and ‘pilled’ and looked like the bed had been slept in. Dirty washing and tissues in bedroom drawers. nothing except a small quilt for the sofa bed, no bed or sofa covering, under sheet or bed mat . Was I really expected to sleep on bare black plastic. Lacking basic kitchen equipment. Bins and brushes left in dining area. No terrestrial tv and i player not accessible all of the time. Side table falling apart. Cleaning had been done but not to a professional standard. This is not a luxury apartment but has the potential to be very good.
