For us it was close to the funeral location and town, 200m from A spar shop, and for Nostalgia 25m from where one of the party grew up.
Property was cosy, and had A really nice feel to it
Beds were not the most comfy but for A couple of nights they did the job

Cold. Owner set house thermostat temperature to just 18 degrees. It was snowing outside. Despite asking the owner just said he would monitor/review. Cold.

Was in a good location and had plenty of parking. Well equip kitchen, and plenty of seating in the lounge.
The main issue was that when taking a shower the ceiling below was leaking a considerable amount and there was also black mould in the bathroom. There were also stains on the bedding. When mentioning this to the host, he was very dismissive and rude. He had no interest in resolving the issues.
