Sweet dream Rome airport rooms

We ended our tour of Italy here .. being close to the airport we needed 1 night before we left. It’s a lovely property.

The room was great, big bed, nice bathroom, and a small private outdoor sitting area. Breakfast seems a bit skimpy, but good facilities.

It was not the property, but the shuttle service that lowered this places score, as I What’s app’ed them multiple times upon arrival at the airport. They knew of my arrival date and approximate time. But the Milan train to Rome had multiple delays, and I again sent them messages of this. I was where they asked me to wait, after about 30-40 minutes with no response, luckily a local came to me rescue and was able to call them. He passed on where I was and had been there for quite a while, then the shuttle ( who I think is the property owner or manager) showed up in about 10 minutes!! I previously stayed at another property nearby, with good shuttle service. I am not certain why this happened, but I was not happy after a long day from Switzerland by Italian trains!! A simple message back would have re-assured me they would be there shortly!! Very sloppy with this!

Julia came to pick me up . She was very nice, kind and friendly. She showed me the kitchen where I can get hot water, and breakfast stuff. My return to the FCO airport was scheduled as soon as we got into the guesthouse. She brought me to the airport at 8 AM.

It was cold and I wasn't sure how to increase the temperature in the room, but, I closed the toilet exhaust window, took a warm shower and covered myself well with the comforter. I know I could have asked but was too tired to find the manager.
