The villa is new, with a modern design and great facilities. The photos on the website are exactly as the villa looks like. The kitchen with living room is big and welcoming. There is a lot of light coming from the giant windows, perfect for people looking for a place to work or just if the need to wind down at home from the noise of Canggu. Both bedrooms are huge, there’s a lot of space. Also the two bathrooms are spacious, with big showers and plenty of space where to place all the possible amenities needed in the bathroom. The location of the villa is also very convenient. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from nice beach clubs, there is a supermarket that you can reach by foot (but it’s on the main road, not exactly a pleasant experience to walk along it), there are probably 5 gyms in the nearby of the house as well. Next door there’s a Thai restaurant with delicious food. In general the villa is a good starting point to explore Canggu and west Bali in general. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They always try to solve the problems that might arise and they are very responsive on WhatsApp. We had a small issue with the shower heads not working and they sorted it very quickly. Wi-Fi is good, the speed is great. Sometimes the laptop disconnected itself, and so did my phone, tablet and other devices (even the smart TV in the villa struggled with Netflix sometimes). I don’t know if it’s the router or something else, but this could be annoying. That said, I never had a meeting interrupted because of it and as I said, the speed is way above average: 14.8MB/s download and 9.66MB/s upload. The pool is nice and cleaned few times per week. Now, it’s almost never in the sun, meaning that the water is quite cold. It’s unlikely you will use the pool a lot, it’s either too cold or not worth it since it’s not in the sun anyway. One plus for me was the presence of the washing machine, as I could wash gym clothes, swimming suits, etc.

The kitchen is modern, but it lacks the most basic tools. There were only one pot and one pan. We had to purchase a colander and a bowl just to be able to have some food cooked at home. There are only 4 flat plates, no big bowls for rice or pasta. Only one small (and heavily used) chopping board. There is no dishwasher and no oven, just two spots on the hobs. The towels are changed and washed every day using the washing machine in the use (which is great and makes sense). The problem is that they are then hung outside on a very small drying rack to dry. Canggu is basically a giant construction site, so the towels aren’t exactly gonna dry in fresh and clean air. We asked for an extra drying rack so we could use it to dry our clothes, but the answer was that they were fully booked so there wasn’t a free drying rack we could use. One side note, the villa is nearby come construction sites for other villas. This is the case pretty much everywhere in Canggu, remember to pack earbuds because the workers work basically 24/7 and the noise can be heard from the bedroom and disrupt your sleep. Obviously this is a temporary situation until the works are finished, but it was worth mentioning.

The property is exactly as described in images, spacious & open. All facilities are avail for a short & long term stay. Nearby gyms, restaurants & cafés are avail and it is a good distance from main canggu area - so you are away from all the crowd & traffic but can reach there quickly if needed. The staff is very quick with their response and helpful
