The apartment is beautiful, well located, bright, comfortable and very pleasant. Lovely atmosphere in the heart of the most beautiful part of Marseille.
We waited an hour to get the keys to the apartment. The code of the box was not opening, and instead of believing me and just telling me to wait, I was told to try again and again and to send pictures to see what I was doing wrong. Turned out the code had been changed and the point of contact didn't know lol. When you want to do a contactless self-checkin, it would be good to make sure you give the right information to the customers.
Overall the communication was so poor. I had received no info prior to check-in until I sent a message a few hours before. Then I was told to send a deposit through an external link, which is of course not okay at all (I checked with booking.com) in order to get the check-in details.
Same with check-out, no communication at all.
It's a shame because the flat is super nice, but you need to improve your hosting skills, it's an important responsibility to host people, not just an extra source of revenue that doesn't require any work from the owner part, and you should take that more seriously.
