Harrogate Haven by Luxus

We had a fantastic stay at Harrogate Haven by Luxus and would highly recommend it. From the start, communication was seamless. The hosts were clear, responsive, and very informative, which made arrival and check-in completely stress-free. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and very well equipped. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, modern amenities, and even games to relax with in the evening. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches. Tea, coffee, and basic essentials were all provided, along with cooking equipment and little extras that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. Parking was secure and easy, which is a big bonus, and the location is excellent. It is just a short distance from the town centre, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and everything Harrogate has to offer. Overall, this is a great value stay with excellent hosts, a well-equipped apartment, and a really convenient location. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment had everything we needed, location was excellent and comunication also great. The apartment was clean and smelled really good!

The only thing we did not enjoy was that both beds were very uncomfortable, especially the one in the room with the ensuite bathroom. We tried the sofa bed as an option B and it was too hard to sleep on. Other than that, the place and attention was great!

The homely feel, cleanliness and general feel of the home and area.

My only negative thought was the mattress as I have severe back issues but overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would happily book this again.

Location is fine and the place was beautifully clean and tidy. Beds comfortable.

Heating failure - tried hard to resolve it, using the instructions from host. Seemed to be a problem with the remote contol speaking to the boiler (gas, combi boiler). Have long experience of home heating systems in properties in UK and abroad, so was a bit odd to be treated as if I was a simpleton who couldn't follow instructions. Also odd to be told that the heating had been working that morning (the flat was freezing when we arrived) and that, miraculously, it was working again when tried by somebody else the next day. Hard to credit. But, if it's just a flaky system and neither trying to get it to work with the host on the phone repeating the same instructions ad nauseam, nor anybody able to be sent out to fix it, then that means it's not a suitable set-up for a rental property. A more sympathetic response would have gone a long way to assuaging a frustration that was only increased after a cold night and cold morning after. Disappointing, as otherwise it's an OK place.
