Large rooms, great decorations, very comfortable beds. The view from the back patio is amazing!

Spacious room, comfortable bed. Free tea and coffee provided (including condiments. Including a common room with excellent views. Free parking available for about 8 cars. Great location for trips around Isle of Skye by car - 15-20 minutes to Old man of Storr, at most 80 minutes to anywhere on the island.

Very close to Portree, and the room was quiet and comfortable and clean!

There is no onsite breakfast and no staff on site (that we saw, anyway)

The view was spectacular, the common rooms like the sun room was spacious, amazing and comfortable. Location was nice but not much around for food and drink except one place, Gasta, but it closes way too early. The best part was meeting lovely guests staying in other rooms in the hotel.

For the price we paid, a coffee machine of any kind, Nespresso machine or cafetiere for guests to share would have been lovely. All they left was instant coffee (who drinks instant coffee anymoe in this barista world?). The hosts did not leave any taxi numbers. It was hard to find a taxi quickly before restaurants closed. We had to go to Gasta to ask for taxi phone numbers as the ones online were not responding at 7:30 pm. The room was so small that there was no space to set the furniture down. No breakfast was offered but we were informed about it. Location was nice but not much around for food and drink except one place, Gasta, but it closes way too early. The second day we were there, it was pouring rain so we tried Gasta again early but they said they ran out of pizza dough. They close at 8 pm. All too inconvenient if one does not have a car. That said, the taxi was only £6 to Portree town centre so not too bad. We would have walked to town happily but there was not enough time to make it to the restaurants before they closed. Also, the heater was turned off automatically. We were drenched and arrived at the property one day to discover that the heat had been off. When I called the number listed, the person who responded on the other side sounded a bit annoyed that we called the emergency number. Not very friendly service that we experienced. Could have been better for the price we paid! Note to the hosts: Leave some taxi numbers and food place recommendations, leave a decent coffee machine for guests to share. More space could be nice but I can understand that's difficult.
