About this cabin rental
This little mazot is pretty chic and has all that you could possibly need for your stay, including a sauna. Newly refurbished to a high standard, with large windows opening onto the terrace, the place is full of light. It has an authentic feel to it, made with locally sourced materials and warm wooden timbers. Mountain views from the sauna are wonderful, enjoy them at the end of a day's skiing or hiking. The mazot is situated in the quiet and charming Les Bossons area on the outskirts of Chamonix, you are within a short drive of ski lifts in Chamonix and Les Houches. A real mountain mazot.
There is a delightful living area with smart TV, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer). Tucked into a cosy corner is the double bed, and if you have a young child there is also a sofa bed that can be used. The shower room is beautifully fitted too, everything you need. We are sure that you will love it!

With sneaky glimpses of Aguille du Midi from the Sauna and windows, the location is peaceful and sleepy but Chamonix centre is walkable or an easy and reliable bus or train. If you are looking for a nice retreat and quiet, with easy access to the area, this is it. The mazot is perfectly designed and supplied, and exceptionally clean. At Les Bossons, you do have to walk 600m uphill from the train station to the mazotand you need to go to the next village for groceries, but the train goes by often for free and is also totally walkable. Lots of trails behind the mazot. You have the view of the mountains on your backyard and also a sauna.

The chalet was a compact delight with great glimpses of the surrounding mountains from outside and through the velux windows. A good location for walking into Chamonix. If you're noise sensitive you may want to pack earplugs as the freezer and air extractor were quite loud! Otherwise a lovely place to stay
More detailed instructions on eg operating the space age hob and where the switch to turn off the extractor fan was. A microwave would be good. Also, Swikly, who deal with the deposit, are rather pushy about taking out deposit cover insurance.
