Sunsets on little Lion's Head

It was the kind of stay that makes you want to pack up your entire life back home and just stay put. Absolute gold. It was romantic, peaceful, and frankly, a bit of a masterclass in how a holiday should be done. It’s the sort of place that makes you think "I could get used to this", right before the sobering reality of the inbox hits again. Brilliant.

There were a few minor hitches, but they were sorted out so quickly it was almost disappointing that we didn't have more to complain about. Monique, the owner, put some truly genius effort into resolving those small things, and we honestly appreciated that personal touch - she clearly knows how to run a proper ship.

Die Lage ist fantastisch und liegt in einem sehr sicheren Wohngebiet in Hout Bay. Obwohl etwas abgelegen sind mit einem Mietauto oder Taxi die wichtigsten und schönsten Ecken Kapstadts gut erreichbar und man hat am Abend dann die Ruhe, um sich vom Sightseeing zu erholen. Mit Blick auf die Hout Bay und einem Glas Wein auf der wunderschönen Terrasse, kann man dann den Tag ausklingen lassen.

In den Wintermonaten kann es im Apartment etwas Kuehl werden, da es nur Elektroheizer in den drei Räumen gibt. Ansonsten ist die Ausstattung sehr gut und auf einem hohen Standard.

Ce cottage est fantastique principalement pour deux raisons : tout d'abord la qualité de son aménagement et le confort d'y habiter. Tout est bien pensé et c'est un plaisir de s'installer dans ce très beau logement. Ensuite son emplacement : Hout Bay permet de visiter facilement a la fois la ville du Cap mais également la péninsule. La vue depuis la terrasse est simplement magnifique et il est possible d'aller faire directement a pied une très belle balade sur la plage voisine.
