Peartree has three double bedrooms and a ground-floor bathroom with a bath, hand-held shower, walk-in shower, basin, and WC. The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. Central heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine are all provided for your convenience, along with a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included. The property offers off-road parking for two cars and a shared garden with Bluebell Cottage, complete with a barbecue (please bring your own charcoal). Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop and pub are 2.4 miles away. Note: Linen for the travel cot is not provided. Make memories at Peartree in Colerne. Locally, Corsham Court is well worth a visit where the impressive art collection can be admired or visitors can enjoy the scenic parkland, designed by Capability Brown. Easily accessible is the stunning city of Bath, where there is so much on offer, catering for all tastes, from the magnificent architecture of the Georgian terraces to the celebrated Roman Baths and wonderful abbey. With ample opportunities to eat out, or indulge in a bit of retail therapy, you really are spoilt for choice. Alternatively, take the short drive to the 13th-century village of Lacock, or to Castle Combe, once named England’s prettiest village. We had an amazing stay at the cottage and it was an ideal place to go with a dog.
The rooms were all very comfortable including a nice cozy living room.
We struggled a little to find it in the dark but got there in the end.
