Absolutely beautiful, host was very friendly and we loved her attitude to live, she has a fantastic hiking business which we learned about whilst we stayed, the quietness and tranquility was the best part about this location, not to mention probably one of the comfiest sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Would recommend and stay again
The shower facilities do need updating, I did find this rather frustrating that the bucket leaks so you have to get the temperature right as you are getting in the shower then you only have around a minute or two max and you can see people showering from the track so could probably do with a tad more privacy but not a dealbreaker just something I think should be changed, especially if anyone is staying for a whole weekend and getting sweaty doing hikes etc.

The hut was cosy and had everything that you would want. The outdoor shower was an experience not to be missed!
The road up is very bumpy with only a few passing places - glad I didn't meet anyone coming the other way!

Nicky was very welcoming and the hut is just perfect. We had good weather, lovely walks and perfect evening at hut.
