We had a 6-night stay in this charming and historic apartment in the centre of Aubusson. This is a very well-equipped, centrally-located apartment, with large spacious areas for living and excellent modern cutlery, utensils, dinnerware and appliances for entertaining in style. There's a very quiet and efficient dishwasher, large fridge and 4-burner gas stove, electric oven and microwave. The host, Herve, is also extremely accommodating, helpful and readily available. Nothing was too much trouble! The rooms are tastefully and elegantly decorated with comfy beds. Wonderful to have a separate, elegant dining room and lounge! The large, flat-screen SmartTV has all the common apps and the WiFi is excellent. Laundry is done in another section of the building and is easily managed. The apartment is also above the best wine shop in town and opposite its most popular sidewalk cafe. The pharmacy is opposite the apartment and just a few steps away are the bakery, fine restaurants and cinema. The rates are also very reasonable. The apartment is upstairs with a discrete entrance off a tidy well-lit laneway. Street parking is behind the apartment and we never had trouble finding a parking spot. Short term parking is in the front of the apartment for drop off and pickup of luggage and groceries etc. The internal stairwell is wide, well-lit and the steps themselves are low and wide for comfortable climbing. We had a memorable stay and would love to come again! Thank you so much Herve!
