Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience at this property. My day had already been very stressful — I was supposed to arrive earlier, but while in Capri, the boat broke down. I missed the train and had to take an expensive taxi from Sorrento to Rome. I informed the property that I would be arriving after 11:00 PM. They told me I had to arrive before 11:30 PM or I would lose my reservation, as they couldn’t wait past that time. I arrived at 11:35 PM — just five minutes late — and felt incredibly pressured and unwelcome. Upon arrival, I was informed there was no air conditioning in the living room and one of the bedrooms. After such a long, exhausting day, this made our stay extremely uncomfortable. My brother had to sleep on one of the rollaway beds, and he fell off it three times during the night. The only positive aspect was that the host arranged a taxi for us early in the morning to get to the airport. Unfortunately, this was far from the relaxing experience I had hoped for.
