We had a fantastic week at the cottage, that has everything you could ever need in such a glorious location. The minute you walk in the place it has a homely feeling to it and you greeted with a marvelous welcome pack of goodies for everyone including our greyhound. A real gem of a place in the countryside. A place to recharge from your busy lifestyles. If you love nature and star gazing with zero light polution, this is the place for you. Central to everything.John & Elaine are lovely people and we will be back to stay again without a doubt.

This was the the perfect get away from it all break but within easy reach off the lovely town off Castle Douglas. We had a great time. The cottage is cozy with all the things you need, a real home from home and being dog friendly is an added bonus. Lovely tray off goodies was awaiting us and a doggie pack also. A very friendly welcome from every one we met and Elaine was on hand if needed, great communication. Cant wait to return next year!

A fab cottage in a little oasis of peace & quiet, yet only 15min drive to Castle Douglas for amenities. Elaine has provided everything required to make this cottage a real home from home. There is a lovely log burner which we sadly did not get to enjoy as the weather was so amazing!! The garden is dog friendly as it has now been fenced(not shown on fotos). We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and it was a perfect location for exploring Dumfries and Galloway, would definitely love to visit again.
