Comfortable cottage "Cascinotta". 4 km from the centre of Bastia Mondovì, 15 km from the centre of Mondovì, 35 km from the centre of Alba, 63 km from the sea, in the countryside. For shared use: property 3'000 m2 (fenced), well-kept garden with lawn and plants, swimming pool (9 x 4 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 01.May. - 30.Oct.) with salt-electrolysis pool-cleaning system. Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue, pool maintenance by the owner/gardener. In the house: washing machine (for shared use, extra). Parking at the house on the premises. Shop 4 km, supermarket 9 km, bus stop 20 km, railway station "Fossano" 30 km, sandy beach 70 km. Golf course (18 hole) 28 km. Please note: residence with electric gates. Owner lives in separate semi-detached house. The owner has a dog.

The four stars are for the property, for the feeling we would give maximum three.
Brief remarks:
A splendid place, very good utilities and accessories, almost all as expected, but a very bad feeling at the end of the stay due to the owner's behavior.
I would not recommend to my other friends to rent this property if the y will want to do a vacation in the region. See below the details:
We spent a week in Cascinotta between 11-18 June 2016, as part of a trip that we did in Piedmont together with a couple of friends.
We are two families, people between 55 to 62 years age, with families and with good positions in our society. It is not the first time that we use to rent such property. Unfortunately our good feeling was strongly damaged by the behavior of the property's owner at the end of the stay. And all this behavior because a not clean pillowcase...
My friend suffers by strong transpiration and the pillowcase that he used became dirty. The owner requested to pay for this thing the sum of 100 (one hundred) euro - this is absolutely exaggerate.
We explained that it is because the transpiration and it will be cleaned by washing; the owner accused us (using inappropriate tone and words) that the stain was caused by the fact that we did drink wine in bad (??!!). This is an absolutely absurd accusation; with all the romantics that we are still capable, at our age we we prefer to drink the little quantity of wine around the table...
We proposed two alternatives:
- To purchase a new entire set of linen – but she asked two sets (all this for one pillowcase...)
- To wash the linen in the washing machine and we'll wait to see the result – if it is still dirty we'll pay. We've been refused with the argument that we can tell that the washing machine is not good...
The owner talked with “the agency” and we reached a compromise: we'll give the 100 euro to the owner, she will give the pillowcase to a ”neutral” laundry and if OK she will return the money to my friend. We accepted.
After a week she announced that the pillowcase is clean and after other few days the money was returned (with the charges on us, that is totally not fair...).
Since we've got almost all the money back we see the case closed, but with a very bad feeling. Pity...
As I wrote, I will refrain to recommend this property to other people.
