I stayed in a superior deluxe double for 5 nights. I was very impressed with the staff who reached out to me before arrival and were kind enough to arrange a luxury transfer from the airport. I strongly suggest you do this as it is only 5 euro more than a taxi! The room is in an apartmet building in a classic Roman style complete with a balcony where you can sip your espresso or prosecco (which was kindly provided by the hosts!). The king size bed was so comfortable and with luxury linen and really great style. The furniture seemed very new along with the decor. Minibar is provided complimentary and restocked daily. The checkout time was a generous 1200 and I was even offered a later one or to have my bags stored. It is easy to stroll to the vatican museums and St peter's basilica. I was there just as the conclave finished and it really wasnt too busy despite what you hear about crowds. The metro is a short walk away and you can easily get to all the main sites this way. There are lots of restaurants, shops and supermarkets close by. I definitely recommend going to get Pizza at Bonci! The staff are easy to communicate with and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Definitely recommend!
