The apartment is very nice, comfortable and fully stocked. It has full sized appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. You can easily prep and eat all your meals there if you want. You have a view of the river from the kitchen and bedroom! Also, if you're comfortable walking 800 meters or so, it's walkable to the train. The apartment is walkable to the shopping in the old part of town. We found a cafe/bar that offered wonderful coffee, chocolate and pastries. We went almost every day. It's a nice walk as you get views of the river as you go along. The host was fabulous and responded very quickly to any question. She was super helpful. This is definitely a good choice for the cost. It's a great alternative to staying in Florence as it's not difficult to get into Florence by train or car.

The bedding (usual comforter with a cover on it) was too warm for us but that's a personal preference. The space in the bathrooms is a bit tight. If you rent a car, just be aware that you may have to park a ways away from the apartment if you come back in the evening. It would be lovely to have instructions in English on how to use to washer and dryer.
