Golden Sands & Winkups

We had a lovely stay at Golden Sands & Winkups. The park was very dog friendly, which was perfect for us, and the caravan itself was ideal for staying with a dog. Everything was very clean and tidy on arrival, and the facilities around the park were excellent. The location was great too — Sandy Cove beach was nearby, and Rhyl was around a 30-minute walk away with even more facilities, shops and another funfair. Overall, it was great value for money and we would happily stay again.

The caravan could have felt a little fresher on arrival, but overall it was still clean, tidy and comfortable throughout our stay.

The mobile home was exceptionally clean the owner provided all the facilities new for our stay we just had to turn up and enjoy our stay

I was expecting to Stay on Winkups or Golden sands as this was what was advertised but we were put on Palins site which is pleasant enough it was just we would have preferred the sites we booked due to location nearer to beach without crossing main road as we had our grandsons with us one of them is Autistic so doesn’t understand the dangers of the roads

location. near the sea. but there was no access to the sea, because the embankment is under renovation. additional fee for the pool and entertainment. absolutely unnecessary. the pool is only an hour a day and you have to book there. we didn't even try anything else. the playground is free until the entrance. the apartment was poorly cleaned. shower with hair, a stained towel radiator. in the kitchen under the sink there were birthday balloons. and very uncomfortable mattresses. I think the owner simply doesn't know how to clean there. And the refrigerator smelled really bad. we didn't even use it.
