Location was exceptional - right in the middle of town. Accommodation had everything we needed. The host even left us a welcome gift of freshly baked scones, and some butter and milk in the fridge, which was an excellent touch. Easy to access the apartment and very clean!
The living room furniture is a bit dated (which is a minor issue). The smart TV was fine for terrestrial TV viewing but we couldn’t connect it to the internet thereby negating the “smart” features (e.g. we couldn’t log on to our Netflix or Amazon Prime Video accounts) - again, a minor issue. Our biggest issue was the communication (or lack of) leading up to our trip: we had asked if there were restrictions on bringing pets (we noted the description of the apartment indicated pets were welcome, but wanted to confirm type of pets as we were considering bringing our dog), but didn’t get a response, so didn’t bother bringing our dog just in case it would be an issue. That said, once we were at the place, communication with the host was excellent (we had a query about the toilet and the host stopped by within minutes!). So, mostly minor issues…nothing to get worked up about.
