At the foot of Mount Olympus, overlooking the sea of Thermaikos gulf, the Villa Platamonas awaits you all through the year to offer you unforgettable holidays. A beautiful villa that combines comfort with elegance and makes the most of its location in front of the Aegean sea.There are olives trees galore, figs, pomegranates, grapes and the full range of wild herbs. Feel free to help yourself!
In the summer the wildflowers are breathtaking. From the villa there is no better view of the Aegean Sea, Mount Olympus and the Byzantine Castle where, during the summer, performances, music concerts and other cultural events take place within the frame of the Olympus Festival. Even the sun sets in precisely the right spot. The bays and beaches are perfect for both children and strong swimmers and, apart from June, July and August, you may well have the whole beach to yourselves.
The village of Platamonas is a short walking distance from Villa Platamonas and is considered one of the most known tourist locations of the region. There are many traditional bakeries, cafes, stores, traditional taverns and restaurants. It is suitable for quiet family vacations but is also the ideal place for those that seek intense nightlife. The numerous little taverns on the picturesque bays and the beach bars and night-clubs on the road along the coast will satisfy even the most demanding visitor. It also has a harbor where you can anchor your craft.
The owners would be happy to give advice on the local area; point out the best places to eat and generally make sure that your holiday is as enjoyable as possible.

From the moment we arrived at Platamonas and were met by the wonderful owner, our experience exceeded our expectations. The villa was simply divine with everything you could wish for. The view from the villa is breathtaking and the local taverns have excellent local dishes, and are very generous (with complimentary rakia and deserts at the end of the meal).
We had wonderful communication with the owner prior and during our visit, with very prompt response to any enquiry. This is the ONLY place to stay in Platamonas for us and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories we have of Platamonas.

From start to finish the booking experience and communication throughout was great.
As soon as we entered the villa and took in the incredible view we knew that we were going to have an unforgettable time! The villa transmitted a sense of simplicity and warmth. . Everyone fit very comfortably and it was well-maintained with a great set up. The highlight was the outdoor areas with seating and dining areas.
We loved beach hopping, from the peaceful beaches to the ultra-chic vibe of Platamonas. We will cherish many memories from the trip: waking up each morning to the beautiful sunshine and the gorgeous views, sunsets in town, lunch on the beach taverns. The location is perfect for visiting different beaches by day and exploring the town and attractions at night.
It was such a relaxing and fun time - just what the doctor ordered after crazy busy year!. We look forward to coming back!

The photos listed give only a hint of the actual beauty that surrounds you in this romantic relaxing villa. Some days it was hard to leave and go exploring because the villa has such a gorgeous environment with spectacular views. It was absolutely sparkling clean and fantastically equipped to a very high standard that really does make you feel spoilt; it really felt like home from home.
The location of the villa is superb; it is at close walking distance to all good things Platamonas town has to offer, but also far enough from the noise. There are many lovely beaches, more than we could get to see in a week, some almost empty, and even on the busy ones, you could get a decent patch of sand to yourself.
I listened to the sound of the waves and watched the sunset every night and it was probably the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen! Absolutely unreal.
The communication and customer service with Tasos, the owner was excellent. We would totally recommend this home - the memories will last a lifetime!
I can't wait to visit again next summer!.
